Sometimes I find myself constantly looking for new knowledge and another opportunity to learn and grow, through quite intellectual and a bit heavy books and lectures\u2026 with the result that I instead of feeling inspired and dressed with more tools, I feel overwhelmed and brain tired.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019ve come to recognize that when this feeling occurs, it\u2019s time to do something else or look somewhere else for inspiration and support.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n So today I choose to share two poems, and hope they find you well! Both authors have written several books and posts regularly on their Facebook pages if their words resonate with you. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The first one is by Irish poet David Whyte<\/strong>;<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSometimes, you need the ocean light,\u00a0<\/em> Sometimes you need your God Sometimes you need only the first shyness so that you can fly and become free And then there are times you want to be To know those arms around you To see eyes looking back at you, seeing you, as you always wanted to be seen, -David Whyte<\/em><\/p>\n The next poem is by British author\/teacher Jeff Foster<\/strong>;<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/em>When you shift your focus For in truth, The only reason The day is just waiting to be lived.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n So breathe in life, friend, \u00a0<\/span>Reconnecting to simplicity also works for me. I learned it walking the Camino to Santiago de Compostela 5 years ago. I share my experience in my latest blog post.
