December 2023 Newsletter
Dear reader I hope this finds you well – almost half of December is behind and we are heading towards the Christmas Holidays. I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I assume this comes with mixed feelings for many of us…
With everything that is going on around the world and in our own private lives, I believe we truly need each other’s support more than ever. We all deal with these challenges in different ways depending on how we look at the world, our earlier experiences and the amount of support we have around us.
That to say, wherever you are at this moment or whatever you are experiencing right now, I wish to send my greetings with love, gratitude, joy and support.
The other day I was listening to a podcast with Caroline Myss, speaking about The Power of Your Words. In this 28 min recording she invites us to pay attention to the words we use on ourselves and others. When we use a word, it has consequences, and she gives examples of words that we should add to our vocabulary as well as the ones to avoid. There are also words that empower and words that disempower, so we need to choose wisely.

And with the upcoming events where interactions with family and friends might be intense and sometimes challenging, listening to Caroline Myss reminded me that we always have a choice how we decide to use our words.
It requires awareness and our willingness to support and empower ourselves and each other, that’s all!
“When we decide to be happy we accept the responsibility to bring happiness to someone else. Some decide that happiness and glee are the same thing, they are not. When we choose happiness we accept the responsibility to lighten the load of someone else and to be a light on the path to another who may be walking in darkness”
– Maya Angelou
Love and gratitude, and I’m looking forward to upcoming news, events and connections with You in 2024!
