November 2024 Newsletter
I recently got a very good question from a friend who asked why my Newsletters and Blog posts are in English, now when I’m living in Sweden. And the reason is that about a half of my subscribers are English speaking, either living abroad or in Sweden.
Last spring I translated my webpage so it’s now an English and a Swedish version, but so far both Newsletters and Blogs are only in English.
In my last Newsletter I shared that I’m now available full time in my private practice in central Linkoping and I’m so grateful for being able to welcome you to my home office! It’s just a short walk from Linkoping Central Station so even if you don’t live here, communications work well using busses and trains.
A couple of weeks ago I attended the second and final part of The Star Sapphire Energy Training in Denmark. It is a beautiful work and a new tool that I’m now offering to clients who’d like to take a closer look into the dynamics between their inner dualities, which in this modality usually is called your inner man/inner woman. But it also applies as yin/yang or opposite poles.
You can read more about it HERE on my webpage (both English and Swedish versions) and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like more information and/or would like to book a session!
With all the uncertainty in the world right now, overwhelm is a common feeling for many. Not knowing what happens next and your sense of safety is challenged by either thoughts, imagination or actual threats, your nervous system might respond with the feeling of overwhelm and it feels like “too much” to be with.
One way to support yourself is to be in nature, going for walks and feel the feet on the ground. Physical exercises like yoga or something else you enjoy doing also makes you stay connected with your body. Spending time with family and friends, sharing about what worries you and listen and support one another.
When a worrying thought about the future grabs me, I like to use the metaphor of pretending throwing out a fishing rod and “catch” the worrying thought” on the hook, and howl it in. When it comes close to me and I can “unhook” it, I’m able to take a closer look at it and ask myself; “What do I actually know about this situation RIGHT NOW? What are the things I’m in control of RIGHT NOW?” And then try to focus on the things I DO KNOW and accept that the outcome might (or most likely) WILL turn out differently than in my imagination. And in my experience, when I do it like this, I open up for POSSIBILITIES that I didn’t see when my focus was too far ahead – and set only on the worry or fear…
“When you become comfortable with uncertainty, infinite possibilities open up in your life.” ~Osho
Wishing you all the best for now 🍁
